According to authorities, Homewood police responded to a home in the 2400 block of 175th Street after receiving reports of an unresponsive woman inside the residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
On Sunday morning, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office officially identified the victim as Bianca Davis, 51, of Homewood, the same address where the incident occurred.
